Clicking on the Chat button opens up the Chat menu on the right side of the screen.



By default, chats are sent to everyone in the meeting.
You can type messages at the bottom of the panel. Press Enter on your keypad or click the Send icon to send messages to all participants.

Your chat will appear in the main section of the panel.
When other participants send messages to you, a small preview will pop up at the bottom of the screen. Click the Chat icon to read the full message. A red number above the Chat icon tells you how many unread messages you have.


To send a message to a particular participant or participants, click New chat at the top of the Chat panel.
With New chat selected, you can choose who you would to message from a list of participants. Alternatively, you can search for them using the search bar.
Once you have selected your chosen participant, enter the message in the chat box at the bottom of the panel and click Send.
Chats can be saved by clicking the three dots at the top of the Chat panel and selecting Save chat.

Clicking the small arrow to the right of the Chat icon opens a small menu.

Clicking Chat settings opens up a further menu with just one option: Show chat previews. When this setting is on (the toggle will be blue), new messages appear as small pop-ups at the bottom of the screen.
