The Captions button can be found in the More menu on the Zoom Meeting Controls toolbar.
Click the Show Captions icon to display closed captions during the meeting. If this option does not appear in the More menu, captions have been disabled or restricted by the host.
Hover over the captions and select the gear icon to open up a small caption settings menu.
Clicking Caption settings opens up a bigger menu on the right of your screen
If you would like captions to be enabled by default, ensure the Always show captions in meetings and webinars toggle is on (it will be blue). This setting is still dependent upon captions being enabled in meeting settings.
To turn captions off, open the More menu and select Hide captains.
