You have two options for adding a cover: Use Cover Creator to make your own cover, or  upload a cover you already have.

If your cover includes a barcode already, check the appropriate box. 
If you leave the box unchecked, Amazon will generate a barcode for you using your ISBN (if provided).

The Cover Creator tool can help you design a cover. However, the options and images available are limited, which makes it difficult, if not impossible, to create a polished, professional-looking cover.
