Ensure your cover is saved as an accepted file format before uploading:
E-book: TIFF or JPEG
Paperback / Hardback: PDF

You have two options here. You can use Cover Creator to make your own cover, or you can upload a cover you already have.

If your cover includes a barcode already, check the appropriate box. If you leave the box unchecked, Amazon will generate a barcode for you using your ISBN (if provided). See Section 2 – Gather Your Resources for more information about barcodes.

Cover Creator

The Cover Creator tool can help you design a cover. However, the options and images available are limited, which makes it difficult, if not impossible, to create a polished, professional-looking cover.
