This section allows you to set the listing prices for your e-book.

Before setting a price, consider researching bestsellers in your chosen categories on Amazon to get a sense of the typical price range.

At the top of the section are selections for either the 35% or 70% royalty plan. This is highlighted in green.

Below is a blank table listing the various marketplaces as well as List Price, Delivery, Rate, and Royalty. There is a box for the primary marketplace in which to input the listing price. This has been highlighted in purple.

At the top of this section you will be prompted to choose a royalty plan

There are some restrictions on the 70% plan, while the 35% plan is more flexible. For example, the listing price of your book must be between $2.99 and $9.99 to qualify for the 70% plan.

You can see all of the list price requirements for both plans here: https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G200634560

Other differences between the plans can be found here: https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G200634500

If your book contains a large amount of images or graphics, the digital delivery cost on the 70% royalty plan may reduce your royalties on the 70% plan to less than you would earn on the 30% plan.

Otherwise, there is generally no downside to selecting the 70% royalty plan.

After you have chosen your royalty plan, you can proceed to enter the list price.

When you enter a price in the top line (which is based on your Primary Marketplace), Amazon will automatically populate prices for other marketplaces.
